Quest Board Volunteer

Overview

Do you love adventure, creativity, and community building? As a Quest Board Volunteer, you’ll help keep our hub of advocacy adventures active and exciting. You’ll research new quest ideas, source rewards, and manage the Quest Board site to ensure participants have fresh opportunities to engage, earn points, and make an impact.

Your work helps build a stronger, more inclusive community while keeping the fun and excitement flowing.

 
  • TIME COMMITMENT

    2–4 hours per month (flexible, with some peak times for adding new quests or rewards)

    LOCATION

    Virtual

    PREREQUISITES

    Must complete our volunteer training module prior to running their first session with nerdy people or organizations.

    • Strong organization and attention to detail

    • Creative thinking for quests and rewards

    • Comfortable managing website content and online catalogs

    • Interest in community engagement, advocacy, or gamified programs

    • Experience with content management systems helpful but not required

    • Research and propose new quests for participants to complete

    • Source rewards and incentives to add to the Quest Board catalog

    • Manage the site content, ensuring quests and rewards are up to date

    • Track points, completion stats, and participant engagement (if applicable)

    • Collaborate with staff to align quests with advocacy goals and SHE programs

    • Help troubleshoot site issues and suggest improvements

    • Gain experience in community engagement, gamification, and content management

    • Contribute directly to an advocacy and impact-driven program

    • Connect with other volunteers and SHE community members

    • Receive recognition as a Super Heroines, Etc. volunteer
