HARRASSMENT POLICY

Super Heroines, Etc. (SHE) is dedicated to ensuring a harassment-free experience at all of its events for everyone, regardless of gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, national origin, or ethnicity. SHE has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment in any form, including verbal, written, visual, and physical harassment, at every event we host and sponsor. Verbal, visual, and physical harassment includes, but is not limited to, offensive comments, bullying, displaying sexual images in public spaces, deliberate verbal or non-verbal intimidation, stalking or following, sharing or creating harassing photography or recordings of members or attendees, sustained or purposeful disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome or unsolicited sexual attention. If an event participant, attendee, or guest is being harassed, they are encouraged to contact the event organizer, host, team leader, or game moderator immediately. Event participants, attendees, or guests who feel more comfortable reaching out about experienced harassment after the event may do so by contacting the event organizer, host, team leader, or game moderator after the event or by contacting Carolyn directly at admin@superheroinesetc.org. SHE members and event participants, attendees, and guests asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Consequences for harassing behavior and for violating the harassment policy may include expulsion from events or from SHE for group members. The harassment policy applies to both face-to-face and online events and extends to SHE’s social media presence and comment threads. With everyone's help,SHE believes we can create a safe environment for everyone.
