CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP & PARTNERSHIPS COORDINATOR

Overview

Lead Super Heroines, Etc.’s corporate sponsorships, in-kind donations, and organizational partnerships. This role builds and maintains relationships with businesses and community partners who support SHE through funding, donated goods/services, and event collaboration—especially for our annual convention.

  3–6 hours per week (increases during sponsorship drives and convention season)

  PREREQUISITES

  Must complete our volunteer training module prior to running their first session with nerdy people or organizations.

  • Experience in partnership development, sponsorships, fundraising, or sales preferred

  • Strong professional communication skills

  • Comfort managing multiple relationships and deadlines

  • Ability to represent SHE’s mission with clarity and enthusiasm

• RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and cultivate corporate sponsors and community partners

  • Develop and manage sponsorship packages (cash sponsorships + in-kind support)

  • Secure in-kind donations such as goods, services, prizes, and auction items

  • Maintain relationships with sponsors and ensure fulfillment of benefits

  • Coordinate sponsor recognition across social media, newsletters, and events

  • Support planning and execution of sponsor presence at the annual convention

  • Work with event leadership to integrate sponsors into programming (tables, signage, shoutouts, etc.)

  • Track sponsorship commitments, donations, and deliverables in an organized system

  • Assist with post-convention sponsor follow-up, gratitude, and renewal conversations
