INDIVIDUAL GIVING & DONOR RELATIONS LEAD

Overview

Oversee SHE’s individual donor strategy, helping cultivate, engage, and retain individual supporters. This role focuses on building a strong community of recurring donors and one-time supporters who sustain SHE’s programs and events.

  3–5 hours per week (flexible, with campaign peaks)

  PREREQUISITES

  Must complete our volunteer training module prior to running their first session with nerdy people or organizations.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills

  • Comfort with donor engagement and outreach

  • Organized and detail-oriented approach to tracking relationships

  • Interest in community building and fundraising

• RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and support individual giving campaigns (monthly donors, annual drives, event appeals)

  • Create donor outreach messaging in collaboration with SHE leadership

  • Track donor engagement, retention, and giving patterns

  • Manage thank-you workflows and donor stewardship touchpoints

  • Support recurring donor growth strategies and incentives

  • Coordinate individual giving updates for newsletters and campaigns

  • Work closely with events and social media teams to integrate donation opportunities
